NJDC is thrilled to be able to host our 2021 Juvenile Defender Leadership Summit virtually. Because bringing together this wonderful national community of youth defenders is so important to our collective work and psyche, you will find all the information you need for the 2021 Summit below. 

If you are planning to request CLE credits for your attendance, please make sure to note all the applicable deadlines on the Continuing Legal Education Credits Information page

If you are a social worker or other non-attorney professional who would like to self-report CEU credits for Summit, please use this Uniform Certificate of Attendance for non-attorneys to verify your attendance. If you need other supporting documentation, please email Eva Chaves at echaves@njdc.info.

2021 Juvenile Defender Resource Guide

Each year in conjunction with the Summit, NJDC publishes an annual Resource Guide which is a compilation of law review articles, studies, case briefs, court decisions, and other information relevant to youth defense from the preceding year.

For your reference, you can download the complete Summit 2021 Program Guide that includes the agenda, workshop descriptions, and faculty bios.
