October 20-22

Albuquerque, New Mexico

The National Juvenile Defender Center is happy to announce that the 2017 Juvenile Defender Leadership Summit will be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico, October 20-22.

Request for Workshop Proposals

NJDC is now accepting workshop proposals for the 2017 Juvenile Defender Leadership Summit.  The deadline for workshop proposals is May 1, 2017.

The Juvenile Defender Leadership Summit is a national forum for juvenile defense practitioners, policymakers, and advocates to strategize, coordinate, and learn from one another. Each year, the Summit includes a robust line-up of workshop sessions that cover a wide range of issues. This year, we are again asking you—the juvenile defense community—to help define the Summit workshop agenda by submitting proposals.

Please use this fillable PDF for completing workshop proposals.  Please read the Request for Workshop Proposals thoroughly before submitting an application. All completed proposals should be emailed to summit@njdc.info no later than 11:59pm EST on May 1, 2017, using the subject line: Summit Workshop Proposal. If you would like to submit more than one proposal, please submit a separate PDF application for each workshop.

For questions regarding this request for proposals, please feel free to contact NJDC’s Director of Training and Technical Assistance, Tim Curry, at tcurry@njdc.info or 202-452-0010.
